Bottom up Knowledge Management with Weblogs and SnipSnap
Todays approach to knowledge management is organized top down from management to employee. It turned out that in many cases this does not work. With the rise of weblogs and other internet technologies knowledge management is turned upside down. People use personal knowledge management to build their own knowledge islands from which others can benefit easily. We call this bottom up knowledge management and present an implementation with SnipSnap, the weblog and wiki software from Fraunhofer FIRST.
